Subject: metal transfer leaf

I took a class a couple of years ago, at a Lettering Conference. The teacher had some sheets/rolls of some type of foil/metal that you could put face down on a lettering project that had some sizing or paint on it and the foil or leafing would come off only on those "primed" or "tacky" areas.

It wasn't typical leafing...it was more an heat activated foil sheet.

If you have an idea of what this is called and where I could get some, I'd appreciate it.
